Customer (commenting on a really tasty ejuice): "Smells like burnt SOMETHING, tastes like a Turkish smokehouse. No idea where you guys were going with this one."
Our lineup of e-liquids tastes best at around 5-7 watts in most vape pens and Kanger tanks.
If you mix it down with straight VG, that should probably totally fix the problem. I looked up your order, and (if I am looking at the right one), you are zero nicotine, so there are only 3 ingredients in your juice.
1. VG
2. PG
3. Flavoring (PG base)
The VG handles high heat better than PG, but the flavor is probably what is burning out on you.
I would try taking some aqueous VG (that is 80% VG and 20% water) and diluting it at least in half. You might even have to cut it more than that to work at that wattage.
Increasing wattage in the same device equals higher temperature, but if the coils have more surface area, then it equals bigger clouds and faster consumption of juice.
Some eliquid flavors handle higher temps better than others. Using more VG and less flavoring works better with higher temps, but if the temp gets too high, you can burn just about any juice. This can be bad in more ways than just getting ass-flavored vapor. You can also start getting carcinogens in your vapor (just like smoking cigarettes)."

Great article. I was having the same problem with some homemade ejuice, and I followed your advice. I cut it 50/50 with VG and now it tastes great in my 100w device.
Thanks!
